How the Luxor Eclipse Photo Experience Works
- Reserve your place. Book a 30-second slot for yourself or a group of up to four registered guests.
- Prepare your pose. Attend the pre-event briefing and practise before eclipse day.
- Arrive at the waiting zone. Follow the arrival time in your final instructions.
- Step into position. When your reservation number is called, move to the marked photography spot.
- Enjoy your moment. Hold your pose as the cameras capture several exposures during your assigned window.
- Receive your images. Your edited photographs will be delivered through a private online gallery.
How We Capture You and the Eclipse
The solar corona and a person standing beneath it need different camera settings. Our planned setup uses multiple cameras and controlled lighting to capture both during your reserved window. Your finished signature portrait may combine genuine exposures taken during that same window.
The eclipsed Sun will be high above Luxor, so the main portrait concept uses a camera positioned low to the ground and aimed upward. We’ll guide you into a rehearsed position before your 30-second session begins.
Clothing Guidance
Choose comfortable, breathable clothing for Luxor’s summer heat. Plain colors are more preferred such as white, sand, dark green, burgundy or black photograph well. Avoid highly reflective fabrics. Please secure loose hats and accessories before entering the photography position.
Safety & Weather
During the partial phases of the eclipse, you must use proper eclipse viewing glasses whenever you look at the Sun. You may remove them only during complete totality, once our safety coordinator confirms it has begun. Put them back on before any direct sunlight returns. Never look through a camera, binoculars or a telescope while wearing eclipse glasses; optical equipment needs its own solar filter fitted to the front.
The portrait depends on visibility and operating conditions on the day. Clouds, dust or other conditions may affect the result. We will confirm the venue, arrival instructions and applicable weather and cancellation terms before booking is finalized.

Is the eclipse in my portrait real?
Yes. The eclipse image will come from a photograph taken in Luxor during the event. The finished portrait may combine exposures captured during your reserved window so that both you and the eclipse are visible.
Can two or more people share a slot?
Yes. A slot can include up to three registered guests, subject to the final photography setup. The price is USD 1,750 per person.
Will I receive every photograph taken?
The package includes one signature portrait and two additional edited images. Unedited files and test frames are not included.
When will I receive my images?
Your digital images will be delivered instantly after your portrait session.
