Hike Itinerary:
That is how it is planned, read the itinerary carefully to get an idea:
Day One
7 pm, after work, meet in front of Baron Palace, Misr El Gedida. Get to know the group members and break the ice.
-Take a private bus to Saint Catherine. One rest on the way.
-Arriving late, meet the group leader at the base camp, rest for an hour, check your packing and start your hike.
Day Two
-Am arrive at Wadi El Shaq El Kebeir and rest, enjoy bedouin tea and prepare for breakfast, set the camp, and relax. After 3 hours, the group will split into two:
1- First group will stay and enjoy camping in the gardens, walking around, taking pictures, hiking back and forth, or just sleeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
2- 2nd group will continue hiking attempting to reach El Gelt El Azraq and dip in South Sinai’s largest natural cold water pool. This part of the hike is tough not because the terrain is hard, it might get a bit challenging in some parts and steep in others, but because the distance walked is just a bit long and usually requires more time than planned for this trip to reach El Gelt El Azraq .. So if you don’t feel like pushing hard on yourself, then you could join the first group, setting your base camp at a more convenient camping spot and you could still hike the surroundings. OR if you feel like challenging yourself, like we always do on most of our trips, then come along and try to swim in the cold water natural pool.
3- mmmmm .. we did not say there was a third option, well, if you think you can take Sunday off work/school/university or you are on vacation anyways we could still take you on a rather comfortable 3-day hiking trip reaching El Gelt El Azraq isA. To do so, please send an email to the trip leader at [email protected]

-3pm drive back to the meeting point.

Hiking in Sinai Mountains
Bedouin guides have compiled a list of the best hiking and trekking routes in Sinai throughout the years. Our guides have spent the better part of two decades learning the ins and outs of these mountains and planning walks for every skill level.
We provide Egypt hiking tours that are suitable for seasoned hikers, families, and those who have never been to Egypt before.
Hikes in Sinai take you via a wide variety of landscapes, from towering rock formations and plateaus to canyons and oasis, from Bedouin villages to rolling dunes and springtime desert flowers.
